Access

BY CAR

From the A-30, exit 35 (René-Lévesque Boulevard or Route 132).

  • Turn LEFT onto Boul. René-Lévesque (after the Walmart) and continue to 132 (also called boulevard de Léry) and turn RIGHT
  • After 3-4 km, turn LEFT on Notre-Dame Nord and follow the signs for Refuge Faunique Marguerite-D’Youville.
  • After crossing the small bridge, turn left immediately. At the gatehouse, press the intercom button and the front desk will open the gate for you.

You can also follow the brown signs with the inscription: Refuge Faunique Marguerite-D’Youville.

BY BIKE – MONTREAL TO ÎLE ST-BERNARD

From June 18 to September 5, enjoy a unique experience by crossing the St. Lawrence River aboard a river shuttle.

The Lachine Boarding Dock is located directly in the Lachine Marina, at the beginning of René-Lévesque Park (near 6th Avenue).

BY BUS – MONTREAL TO CHÂTEAUGUAY

During off-peak hours, bus routes 31 and 32 allow people departing from Montreal to access Châteauguay from the Angrignon metro station. You will need to transfer to a taxibus to get to the corner of Vinet and Edmour streets. This stop is the closest to the Manoir d’Youville, it is just across the bridge to access St-Bernard Island.

 

During rush hour, bus 25, which also departs from the Angrignon metro terminal, will take you to the corner of Vinet and Edmour streets.

Please note that from April 15 to October 31, you can combine cycling and buses for your trips thanks to the Vélo-Bus service offered by the CIT du Sud-Ouest.
